Foz Tua emerged from a passion for the Alto Douro wine region, which culminated in the acquisition of a property in 2014. With around 4 hectares and countless potentialities and resources, this beautiful property overlooking the Tua Dam brought with it the history and maturity of a very special terroir.

The vineyard, planted more than 30 years ago, showed a maturity that opened the doors to a consistent wine exploration, with highly concentrated fruits and with distinctive characteristics for the production of unique DOC Douro wines.

In addition to the 2 hectares of vineyards, located between 185 and 270 metres, and where the Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca stand out, the brand invested in 1.5 hectares of olive groves, as well as in other small fruit production. The goal? Guarantee the harmony and biodiversity of the terroir, exploring the best that the earth has to offer.
