There are many paths in Portugal, but only those which come from the north and follow the path of the mountains, or those which come from the south and follow the Algarve coast reach the small village of Tôr.

Near the roman bridge, an icon of the village, we can find the Quinta da Tôr that has the privilege of being inserted in nature and in the simplicity of the scenery of the Algarve hills.

The properties of Quinta da Tôr belonged to the same family since 1500 until 2011, when they were renovated by the new owner family, with origins and strong roots in the village of Tôr.

The new owners, driven by passion and pride in their land, did not want to ignore the qualities of the land. Thus, the vineyard was revived and a new winery was built.

The micro-climate, with low temperatures in winter and high temperatures in summer, allows for a good and balanced maturation of the 7 grape varieties it has to offer: Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Aragonês, Siria, Arinto and Chardonnay.

The brand image of this farm are the high alcoholic wines, between 16 and 17 degrees of alcohol percentage, which surprise by their unexpected smoothness, explosion of flavours and complexity.

It is possible to experience the harvest, which includes cutting the grapes, visit the winery, participate in the traditional foot treading and enjoy a delicious traditional lunch with a view over the vineyards and a dip in the pool.
